Our Mihimihi

This term we have been learning a Mihimihi in our Maori studies. Here is our presentation.....we are very proud of ourselves :-)

Table 1 - The Youtubers

Here is Table 1 - The Youtuber's. This is their first time using an Easy-speak. They worked well together and did a great job of introducing themselves.

Table 2 - The Google Doccer's

This is Table 2 - The Google Doccer's. The used the Easy-speak for the first time and they did a great job introducing themselves.

Table 3 - The Netbook Freaks

Here is Table 3 - The Netbook Freaks. This is their first time working with an Easy-speak and they did very well. Listen to what their goal is for Term 1.

Table 4 - The Google Apps

Here is Table 4 - The Google Apps introducing their group to the world. This is their first time of using the Easy-speak microphone. Well done Google Apps.

Table 5 - The Firefoxes

We practised our expressive speaking and speaking clearly in Drama this week. Each group used the Easy-speak microphones and produced a small speech introducing their table group. Here is Table 5 - The Firefoxes.

Our Rubbish Brainstorm

We used 'Wallwisher' today to brainstorm ideas about rubbish. We each used our netbooks to log into the wall and share our ideas about the question. It is great to work on something all at the same time.

Our Awesome Netbook Rollout!

What an awesome day Room 3 had last Thursday. It was the first day of the school year and we got to unwrap our brand new netbooks. We will be using these netbooks to record and share our learning. We will be using Google Apps to do our work on and sharing our learning on our individual blogs.
This was a very exciting day for us all. We will be sharing our thoughts and feelings about this experience on our individual blogs this week so keep an eye out on our side bar for when we post our recounts of the experience!
