Typing Test - Term 1

Today we shared our typing skills for the Term.  For many of room 3 this is the first year that they have ever done typing.  Each term we will try to beat our own score.  Can you beat mine?

What is a Metaphor?

In room 3 this week we are learning about Metaphors, this is an example of a template that the students used today.  

Soul Friends

Last week Room 3 joined up with their Soul Friends from Room 4.  Soul Friends are people who we are their to help, guide, listen to, encourage and be there when they need a friend.  Here are our Soul Friends.

Triathlon

During this week Room 3 has been training for a Triathlon.  Today we finally competed in the event and everyone did an awesome job.  We had so much fun.  Check out the pictures below to see how we did.

Engaging with our netbooks

Our netbooks allow us to have FAITH in our learning, HOPE that we will achieve and we just LOVE using our netbooks!

 

Our Identities

This week we have been looking at our Identity during our topic study which is 'Embracing Others' - Social Justice.  We need to embrace ourselves before we can embrace others.  We used Google Draw to create a presentation of our Identity and used our webcams on our Netbooks to take a picture of ourselves to insert in our Google Draws.  Here are a few examples of the students work.
