Lavinia's Recount

On Monday straight after Jum Jam the bell rang. Everyone knew it was morning tea. Soon after we came inside the class, my friends and I got our lunch and walked out the door. It was really hot, the sun was shining in our eyes so we all put our hats on.

We all sat on the green seats and started eating our delicious food. When everyone was finished we walked to the tennis court and made a circle to play King-ball. Someone was out, everyone started running so fast that it was hard to get them out. Later in the game it got boring so I walked to Ofa, she was playing on the guitar and she was really good at it. I then started running because I saw the ball. I was freaking out because I thought I was going to get out, but I didn't. Everyone was running around, you could see sweat running down their faces. I started walking to the gate quietly waiting for the bell to ring, so I could run out.

The bell finally rang. I ran outside the tennis courts, I was feeling so happy because I didn't get out. I ran to the class because I was scared I was going to be late for class.

I'm Zachary Fore. I go to school at the University of South Alabama. I attend Dr. Strange's EDM310 class. I really enjoyed your post about your day. It made me think about the days back in elementary school when I used to play similar games with my classmates. Keep up the good work. You can read my blog if you would like. Hi Lavinia
I enjoyed reading your recount about your breaktime. I remember playing King Ball when I was your age. Keep up the great writing.

Hello, Lavinia. I really liked reading about your day. What is King Ball? Is that like dodge ball? I always liked playing that in school, but I was never very good at it. That's really impressive if you didn't get out! You're a really good writer, so keep up the good work!
