Jumping For Heart

On Thursday 11th of May we did Jump For Heart for the Heart Foundation to fix babies hearts.

We all wore mufti to raise money for Jump For Heart. The whole school was lining up to go to the courts. After that we did our items. The juniors did, 'kiss kiss kiss' and 'the lion sleeps tonight'. Our class did the 'Bongo Song'; it was so awesome and great.

At the end I felt excited because my heart was pumping.

What a wonderful time I'm having in Room 6. We are doing so much fun stuff. Here is my favourite thing we did in Term 2.....

My Holiday Off!

On Monday I had my holiday off, I went to my Nana’s house. In the afternoon I watched TV waiting for the clock to strike 4:00 clock, because we were going to church to do some dances for the meeting at our church. We danced till the clock strock 6:00 clock. We waited and waited until we finished dancing. We had a time out for dancing and after that the boys were playing rugby. Some of the boys were inside helping the doing the cups, plates, and glasses. Finally we finished and we ate sandwich's, pizza and panikeke and drank some tea and cocoa.

After we had eaten we locked the church and every body talked and talked until we were tired and we went home.

Palmerston North

On Friday me and my Papa and my big brother and his rugby team went to McDonald’s to eat.

My Papa said “who need’s to go to the toilet?”. The team went to the toilet and when they came back from the toilet my papa said to everyone “hop in the van let’s go now".

It was a long drive to Palmerston North. The team stayed at a motel. We stayed for four day’s. They lost the finals to Bay of Plenty.

After all game’s we went to have fish and chip’s because it was a Friday because it was Lent time. We went back to the motel and we had a meeting in the boy’s room. After that they all went to sleep at 9.00 o‘clock.

Time For School

It was a lovely sunshine day, I wondered what we were going to do today.

The bell rang like it was time for dinnertime. We said our prayer and later on we moved onto the next activity. Every student in room6 was on task.

All of a sudden the bell went as if a car was honking at us. We got our delicious lunches as fast as a leopard could run. It was time to play king ball. It was fun, we had to form a circle. Francis got out and then suddenly the bell rang. We went to class sweaty, but later we settled down.

Mrs Gleeson rang the tinker bell as then it was time for us to listen to what she was going to say. Next she said to get our bags and line up at the office. What a good day.
