Dancing Tamaki Community
We have been looking at the different places that make up our Tamaki Community. We have written reports about each of the places and then presented the places in a creative way by dancing in these places and also with members of the Tamaki community. Our aim was to bring the community together to celebrate the place where we live.

That was a great performance! People from around our area have some exciting dance moves. It was hilarious in parts! The footage from outside the GI four square would have to be one of the top group of dancers. Also the dancers from Panmure Bridge were awesome.
I was amazed that you could get around to all those places.

What a wonderful finale to the film festival Room 6 - such a creative and fun way to share your writing topic! Every group of schools that came to the festival left on a high note after watching your movie. Well done.

We went to the film festival today and I loved your performance. It was my favourite of them all. I like how you have the guy in the red shirt always doing his funny cross-armed dance everywhere. My friends and I were talking about your performance and one of them was humming the tune all the way home while doing the dance!

What a fantastic way to finish the film festival, there were some awesome shots in there and I would have watched it about a dozen times and it still cracks me up! Brilliant, brilliant work!
Great movie Room 6. What I particularly liked was how you used your movie to add inspiration to your writing about the Tamaki community. Thanks to all in Room 6 at St. Pius X, everyone around the world will be able to see the Tamaki we see - a fun, beautiful vibrant community to live and work in!!

What a cool movie! I loved all the dancing in the different locations around our community. Your student who was the main dancer did a fantastic job.
I think that the students at Panmure Bridge were the coolest dancers (must be that Miss Day!)
This is definately one of the most popular movies from the festival. The students in my class love watching this one over and over again.
